In 1943, Asger Jorn published ten copies of a first edition of calligraphy manuscript and illuminated his Danish translation of Franz Toussaint's text, produced in 1940 while he was studying lithography at the Copenhagen Art school,
printed in the Chinese way, on only one side of each sheet of paper, in green, black and red, on vellum.
