1962

Ling Junwu was born in Suzhou, Jangsiu Province, in China.

   

His ancestral home is Shaoxing.

     
 

1986

He graduated from Nanjing Teachers University in Fine Arts,

     
 

1995

He continued studying Art in Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, in the department

   

of Block Printing.

     
 

1998

After graduation, he taught as an art teacher at Chinese Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing,

   

but his birthplace, his source of inspiration, misses him.

     
   

At present, he lives and works in Suzhou

Pierres sauvages du Zhuozheng yuan et du Shizi lin.

 

Tuiles grises. Crépis blanc des murs.

 

Pavillons. Kiosques aux bois peints.

 

Végétation foisonnante qui couvre, tisse, anime ses gravures : Jinwu nous rassure.

 

La Chine rêvée est là, encore. Et ses dix mille êtres, vivants, apaisés, endormis.
