Chen Ying-Teh 陳英德 was born in Chayi, Taiwan.

Chen Ying-Teh est un grand artiste. Sa Chine est bleue, bleue comme un monochrome
|
|
de Klein, mais avec du dessin et des idées derrière le dessin. Sa Chine n'est pas celle
|
|
des mandarins : c'est celle des travailleurs, des pelleteuses qui sont comme de gros
|
|
insectes dressés, des enfants ( ce sont les siens ) qui ressemblent à d'adorables
|
|
grenouilles de Jade. Les ouvriers sont casqués et hiératiques, et il en résulte
|
|
une sorte de fresque, cantique à la gloire du travail.
