He graduated from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, in Hangzhou.

His work continued the siprit of the Red Humour group, founded with others students :

Haizhou, Luo Xianyue, Song Chenghua, Ni Haifeng, Huang Jian.

|
He worked in collaboration with Inga Svala Thorsdottir.

1995
|
He obtained a Master from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Hamburg.

He moved back to China.
