Ru Xiaofan 茹小凡 was born on January 7 in Nanjing, Jiangsu province in China,

in a family of scholars. |

In his childhood, he learned calligraphy.

1977
|
He studied at the Nanjing Academy of Fine Arts.
|

1982

Graduated in Fine Arts, he moved to France.

|
|
|
|
1983

He joined the National School of Fine Arts, in Paris.

|
|

He graduated from E.N.S.B.A. Paris France.

He obtained a scholarship from la Casa Velasquez in Madrid (1988 ) and ( 1990 ).

1996-2000

He painted on canvas, his Hundred flowersseries, whose title refers to a quote from Mao.

In Bubble-Game, he accumulated daily objects, faces, toys, balloons, mannequins.
|

He painted a series of still lifes under a bell.
|
| |

| |
He lives and works in Paris, France.
