1972

Zhu Xiaofeng   祝晓峰 was born in Shanghai  China.

   

1989

He entered the School of Architecture, at Shenzhen University.

1994

He obtained his Bachelor's degree and spent three years teaching.

 

 

1997

He went to the United States and entered the Graduate School of Design

 

at Harvard University of Cambridge.

1994

He graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture.

   

2004

After working for five years in the KPF architectural firm in New York, he decided

 

to return to Shanghai and create his own firm: the Scenic Architecture Office

 

currently composed of 20 architects.

   

2012

He taught as a guest lecturer at the Tongyi Uiversity.
   
  He lives and works in Shanghai  China.

  -  Renjie Riverfront Club

 

Team :  Zhu Xiaofeng, Guo Dan, Shan Haidong

 

Located at the intersection of two rivers, the building with its stone retaining wall

 

and its glass wall on the river side fits perfectly into the landscape.

   

2005

   -   The Green Pine Garden

 

Team :  Zhu Xiaofeng, Guo Dan

 

Located besides the highway from Shanghai to Zhujiajiao, with a 30,000 sqm green

 

land park and two renovated factory buildings  inside as club restaurants,

 

   -   A local wooden screen, folded vertically, allows a visual effect between the interior

 

and the exterior and creates a cavity for air conditioners..

 

    -  Brick walls are used on the west facade to prevent the noise from the traffic

 

This project was selected to participate in the exhibition: 2006 China Contemporary

 

Dutch Institute of Architecture (NAI) Rotterdam Netherlands

   

2010

   -  Zhujiajiao Museum of Humanities & Arts project

 

Design Team : Zhu Xiaofeng, Li Qitong, Xu Lei, Dong Zhiping, Zhang Hao

 

Organized around a central atrium with a glass roof, its glass facades open the building

 

up to the environment and thus invite people to visit.

 

This project was the Winner of the Museum Design Award 2011

 

This project was Finalist in the China Architecture Awad 2012

   

2013

-  The Huaxin Business Centre 

 

Team : Zhu Xiaofeng ( principal of Design ), Ding Penghua

 

Project designers Cai Mian, Yang Hong, Li Haoran, Du Shigang

 

For this office complex with a large green area and six century-old camphor treesires

 

the building was raised to the 2nd floor, to maximize the green space on the ground

 

and establish an interactive relationship, while protecting them.

 

This project won the Far Eastern Architectural Design -  ThrArchitizer A+ Prize and the WAACA

 

WA Technological Innovation Prize.2014
