Zhang Yi  张艺 was born on May 28 in Anhui Province  China.

   
 

Education

1977

At the age of five, he began studying the violin.

1983

At eleven, he entered the elementary school affiliated with the Conservatory of Music.

1995

He graduated from the Conducting Department of the Conservatory of Music.

2000

He studied at the Saarland University of Music in Saarbrücken, Germany.

2003

He earned a Master's degree in Conducting.
