Zeng Yi 曾毅 was born in January, in Jinan, Shandong province East China.
|

1964
|
He got his passion for photography from his teacher father, whose favorite

|
|
hobby was photography and who offered him, for the end of his middle school
|
| |
studies, the book of Wu Yinxian : Method of Photography Art.
|
|
|
|
|
1970
|
He learned all the basics of photography, in a local Photo Lab, and then practiced
|
|
|
photographing children in the Chinese countryside.
|
| |
|
|
1978
|
Transferred to the Shandong Art Center, he helped to prepare the exhibition of
|
| |
Lewis Hine and realized that photography must document social reality.
|
| |
|
|
1980
|
He was in charge of the Jinan Photographers Association.
|
