Tianqi Du  杜天奇 pianist, was born on  August 19, in Guiyang, Guizhou Province  China.

 

 

 

-  Education

 

At the age of five, he studied piano under Chen Xueyun at Guizhou Normal University.

 

At ten years old, a child prodigy, he gave his first recital.

   

2011-2014

He studied at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, , with Dan Zhaoyi.

2016-2018

He went to study in Boston, at the New England Conservatory, under the guidance

 

of the American-Taiwanese : Meng-Chieh Liu.

2021

Nicolas Hodges, British pianist became his mentor.

2022

Release of his first album : Bach - Goldberg Variations  -  Naive Label

   
 

He lives in Boston, Massachusetts  United States.
