Tai Xiangzhou 泰祥洲 was born in Ningxia, in a family of scholars.

At a very young age, he was introduced to calligraphy with Hu Gongshi (1912-1997)

|
1986
|
He moved to work in Beijing. |
|
|
1999-2001
|
He studied digital media in Auckland New Zealand.
|
|
|
|
He returned to calligraphy and learned ink painting with Liu Dan.
|
|
|
2006
|
He studied at the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University.
|
|
|
2012
|
He graduated with a PhD in painting - the origins of Chinese landscapes
|
|
in cosmology. |
|
|
|
IHe lives and works in Beijing China. |
