Su Xianzhong 苏献忠 was born in Dehua, Fujian Province, in a family
|
|
of famous porcelain sculptors.
|
|
|
1984
|
He left to study Sculpture, at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, Jiangxi
|
|
Province. |
|
|
1988
|
Back to Dehua, he worked for four years, as a Designer, at the Tao
|
|
Art and Crafts Porcelain factory.
|
|
|
1993
|
He joined the Yun Yu Porcelain Studio created by Su Xuejin (1869-1919 )
|
|
his great-grand-father, also known as Bo Ji Yu Ren, and began working
|
|
there. |
|
|
2010
|
The China Light Industry Federation and the China Ceramic Industry
|
|
Association awarded him the Honrary Title : Chinese Ceramic Art Master.
|
|
|
|
In addition to winning numerous gold and silver medals in national competitions
|
|
nationales, Su Xianzhong established himself as China's most influential artist by
|
|
creating the Dehua Blanc de Chine style.
|
|
|
|
His fame grew with the broadcast of the C.C.TV series : Through the Maritime Silk
|
|
Road, in which he appeared in two episodes.
