Li-Wei Qin 秦立巍 was
born on February 16, in a family of musicians,
in Shanghai China.
|
|
He began learning to play the cello with his father, a former cellist with the Shanghai
|
|
Orchestra. His mother was a pianist concert.
|
|

He moved to live in Australia, with his family. |
|
|
1995
|
Thanks to scholarships, he joined :

|
- the Manchester Conservatory RNCM ( Royal Northern College of Music)
|
|
and studied with Ralph
Kirshbaum.

and studied with David Takeno.
