Lee Tsai-Chien 李再鈐 was born in Fujian Province China.
|
|
He learned traditional calligraphy at a very young age from his father
|
|
and his grandfather, renowned calligraphers.
|
|
|
1948
|
He moved to Taiwan.
|
|
After a year of studies ( Fine Arts Department ) at the Provincial College of
|
|
Education, ( the current National Normal University ) he worked in the Design.
|
|
|
1963
|
He turned to modern sculpture.
|
|
|
1968/1972
|
He taught at the Chinese University of Culture in Taipei.
|
|
He taught at Ming Chuan Business College Taipei.
|
|
|
|
He discovered Minimal Art and explored geometric forms.
|
