was founded in Shanghai by the transgender Chinese choreographer and dancer .

Jin Xing Dance Theatre  金星舞蹈剧团, presented in Théâtre des Champs-Elysées  Paris,

Trinity a show combining three visions of contemporary dance :

  -  Sacre             choreography by the Israeli Emanuel Gat

s-  Echo (2013) hchoreography by the South African artist Moya Michael  ow bringing ether :  

  -  Cage Birds     choreography by the Dutchman Arthur Kuggeleyn

In the evening, a second piece by choreographer Arthur Kuggeleyn was performed.

1967

13.08 Jin Xing 金星.was born a boy, in Shenyang, Liaoning Province  China.

His mother, a translator, and his father a military intelligence officer were from

the Korean minority.

1976

Attracted by Dance, he joined the People's Liberation Army Arts Institute, for dual

training ( military and dance: Western classical ballet and traditional Chinese dance. )

1984

In addition to the rank of Colonnel in the army, he won the National Dance Competition.

Thanks to a scholarship from the Asian Cultural Council and the American Dance Festival,

he traveled to the United States to study Modern dance with American dancers and

choreographers : Merce Cunnighan (1919-2009) and Martha Graham (1894-1991).

1991

He received the Best Choreographer Award at the American Dance Festival.

He also helped create the Beijing Modern Dance Ensemble as its Artistic Director and

choreographer.

1993

Back in China, Jin Xing 金星 underwent gender reassignment surgery and became

the first recognized transgender person in China.

2005

She made her film debut with a role in Prachya Pinkaew's Thai film Dragon's Honor.

She then starred in George Nolfi's Chinese film Birth of the Dragon (2016)

and in Pan Jun and Deng Yuan's musical You Make my life beautiful (2018).

2006

She founded the First International Modern Dance Festival in Shanghai.

2013

Jin Xing began her career in television.

2015-2017

She became known to the general public as the host of The Xing Jin Show on Dragon TV.

2021

She is the new face of the Dior J'adore perfume advertising campaign.
