Jian Wang 王健 was born in a musical family in Xi'an China.
|
|
|

He sudied the cello with his father, when he was four, and he entered the |
|
Shanghai conservatory. |
|
|
1981
|
He played the Saint Saëns cello concerto with the Shanghai Symphony |
|
Orchestra at the Shanghai Music Hall. |
|
|
1985
|
Encouraged by his teacher Mr Stern, he joined the Yale School of Music United Kingdom |
|
and studied under the cellist Aldo Parisot. |
|
|
|
He holds the International Chair of Cello at the Royal Conservatoire Birminghamham.
|
|
|
|
