Chen Jun 陈军 was born in Changshu, Jiangsu province China.

1972

He began learning to play the erhu with his father, Chen Xaoxing 陈耀星

a renowned performer and educator.

He entered the Central Conservatory of Music and the Military Arts Academy

to study erhu playing and composition.

He performed at the Chinese New Year Gala.

2003

He created an ensemble of oriental women's music for which he composed

numerous works.

2014

Publication of the manual : How the Erhu is Practiced.

2024

He participated in the New Year's symphonic concert, held at the Changsha

Concert Hall, which brought together renowned musicians specializing in

traditional Chinese instruments - winners of the Golden Bell of Music and

the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra.
