Shen Hu was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China.

He studied at the Shanghai Theatre Academy ( Fine Arts department )

1987

He continued his studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

He graduated from the National Administration of Cultural Heritage.

He is the Director of the Research Department of Liu Haisu Art Museum.
