He graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture.

He joined the architectural firm SHA of Steven Holl, in New York and directed

the major projects of the Beijing branch office, including :

He left SHA to found in New York, with Huang Wenjing 黄文菁 who worked with Pei

Cobb Freed and Partners, their own firm in New York and in Beijing: Open Architecture
