Hu Ming 呼鸣 was born on October 18th, in Beijing China.

She joined the People's Liberation Army, where she held a variety

of positions.
|

1979
|
She entered the Tianjin Fine Arts Academy.
|

After graduating, she worked as an artistic designer for the P.A.L.
|
| |

1985

She left the army with the rank of Major.
|
| |
|
|
1990
|
She travelled to New Zealand, studied English and made cartoons,

for a company.

|
|
1993
|
She now devotes herself to oil painting.
|
| |
Her work focuses on the representation of bodies, often women,

| |
dressed in the uniform of the A.P.L.
|
| |
|
| |
She lives and works in Sydney Australia and Beijing China.
