Wei Yang was born in November in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

1951

He graduated from the Hubei Institute.

( Fine Arts department )

He began teaching there.

1996

He was appointed Librarian of the Institute for Research on Literature and History

of the People's Government of Hubei Province.

He participated in National and International exhibitions in : Canada, South Korea,

United States, France, Hong Kong, Macao, Hungary, Japan, Singapore,Thailand.

He also exhibited in Australia and in Taiwan.

He was published by various publishing houses : Hubei Fine Arts, Tianjin Fine Arts,

Hunan Fine Arts and People's Fine Arts.
