1952

Wang Mingming  王明明 was born on May 4, in Penglai, Shandong Province, China.

He painted since he was a child.

Self-taught artist, he studied with many artists including Jiang Zhaohe  Wu Zuoren,

1978

He was admitted to the entrance examination of the Central Academy of Art, Beijing,

but he prefered to becomea professional painter at the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts.

1983

He was invited to go to France, to participate in an exhibition of young Chinese artists.

He exhibited and lectured in Australia, in China - Beijing, Hong Kong, in Korea - Seoul,

in France,  in Japan, in Singapore, inTaiwan.

2014

He was one of the 10 best influential artists of contemporary ink painting in China,

according to the International Association of Artists of the United States.
