Richard Lin 林壽宇 ( 1933-2011 ) was born on January 31, in Taichung, Taiwan.

He went to study in London, United Kingdom.

He studied architecture and Fine Arts at Millfield School then at Regent Street

Polytechnic ( the current University of Westminster ) and turned to painting.

He taught in various institutions including the Royal College of Art.

First Solo exhibition at the Gimpel Fils gallery in London
