Hoo Mojong 贺慕群 was born in Shanghai China.
|
|
|
|
|
1950
|
She moved toTaiwan, then to Sao Paolo, Brazil where she stayed for almost ten years.
|
| |
|
|
1965
|
She settled in Paris France.
|
| |
She studied oil painting and sketches at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière.
|
| |
|
|
1968
|
She won the First Prize at the Salon des Femmes Peintres Paris.
|
| |
|
|
1970
|
She obtained a workshop from the Ministry of Culture, to paint large formats.
|
| |
She learned engraving.
|
| |
She participated in numerous fairs and exhibitions.
|
| |
|
|
1996
|
Invited to hold her first solo exhibition at the Shanghai Art Museum,
|
|
|
she divided her time, between Paris and Shanghai.
|
| |
|
|
2002
|
She settled permanently in Shanghai.
|
| |
The Shanghai Museum organized an exhibition in her honor at the end of which
|
| |
she donated it, sixty works ( painting, engravings, sketches).
|
| |
|
|
2012
|
She passed away in Shanghai, at the age of 88. |
