Chen Ching-Jung 陈景容 was born on Décember 28, in Changhua Taiwan.

1956
|
He graduated from the National Normal University of Taiwan.
|

The same year he founded with several students the Society of May *, or Fifth Moon Society
|
| |
for a new approach to Art.
|
| |

1957 / 1959
|
He participated in their annual exhibition.
|

1960

He moved to Japan to study Western painting at the Musashino University of Fine Arts.

| |
|
|
1963
|
Graduated, he entered the National University of Art and Music of Tokyo.

1967

Graduated with a Master's degree ( mural painting Department ), he returned to Taiwan
|
| |
and began teachIing at the National Normal University of Taiwan.

He made a mural painting for the National Auditorium and the following year for

the Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
