He graduated with a M.A. ( ceramic department ) from the Minesota,

then a M.F.A. from San Jose State University, in California.

He founded the ClayGround Studio and Gallery as a School of Ceramic Art. in Ellicott City.

|
- As a Professor, he gave numerous lectures and was twice invited to China,
|
|
at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts ( 2009 ) and the Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts,
|
|
in Chongqing. ( 2017 )

- As a writer, he wrote numerous articles and essays for Art Magazines and published
|
|
four books : |
