He emigrated to the United States where he continued his sudies in mechanical |

engineering. |

He graduated with a Bachelor's degree, from the University of Michigan. |

He worked as an architectural engineer in New York.
|
|

|
While pursuing his professional career, he studied at the Art Students League
|
|
of New York.
|
|
|
1962
|
He became an American citizen.
|
|
|
1963
|
After wining the John Hay Whitney Fellowship for Painting, he decided
|
|
to devote full-time to Art.
|
|
|
|
He sought to integrate his scientific knowledge and technological, to his
|
|
artistic approach. |
|
|
|
He created Multi-kinetic Wall ( 1965 ) and Cybernetic Sculpture ( 1966 ) which
|
|
made him famous.
|
|
|
|
He participated in numerous collective exhibitions devoted to kineticism
|
|
in London and in New York.
|
|
|
1968
|
He won the second prize Experiment in Art and Technology, at the Modern
|
|
Art Museum of New York .
|
|
|
1971
|
He moved to Paris for ten years and settled permanently in New York.
|
|
|
2013
|
He died on January 2 in Manhattan, at the age of 84.
|
|
|
|
The Tsai Art and Science Foundation was created in New York, to pursue
|
|
the visiony of cybernetic artist.
