1974

Peng Wei  彭薇 was born in Chengdu, in Sichuan Province  China.

She learned painting from her father, the painter Peng Xiancheng ( 1941- ),

from an early age.

1997

She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art from Nankai University.

2000

She received a Master's degree in aesthetics from Nankai University.

2000/2006

She was the editor-in-chief of Yishu Art magazine in Beijing.

2007

She was a painter at the Academy of Fine Arts of China, then she devoted

herself entirely to the creation.

She made herself known by her delicate ink paintings, landscapes, pagodas,

trees, decorative motifs, on various materials :

- rice paper surrounding busts and legs of mannequins.

- tissue paper

- fashion items, especially Western shoes.
