1971	Mu Yuming was born in Kunming, China.

1993 / 1994	He studied in Center Academy of Art and Design, Beijing.

1997 / 1998	He studied in Center Film Academy, Beijing.

1998	He participated in the Asia Film Festival, in Norway.

1998 / 2000	He obtained a scholarship from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and he went
	to study in Oslo. He joined the National Art Academy.

	He lives and works in Kunming, China.
