Dong Shouping 董寿平 ( 1904-1997 ) was born in February, in Shanxi Province China.

He went to live in Chengdu where he held his first solo exhibition.

He donated dozens of paintings belonging to his family to the Shanxi Provincial Museum.

He bequeathed 200 of his own paintings to his hometown.

He went to Japan, gave lectures, and held an individual exhibition of his ink paintings
