Chung-Chuan Cheng was born in Hsinchu, Taiwan. His father was a renowed doctor,
|

practising western medicine. |

1952

After high school, she joined The National Normal College of Taiwan. |

Graduated with a B.F.A. degree, she began teeaching. |
|
She founded with other graduated artists from the University of Taiwan, The Society of May |
|
or The Fifth Moon group, for a new approach to Art. |
|
The group's first exhibition was hold in May, at the Zhongzheng Auditorium, Zhongshan
|
|
Hall.
|

1958
|
Married to Fu-Chan Liang, a dentist, the couple moved to reside in Japan and she stopped
|
|
painting, to devote herself to her family.
|
|
|
1989
|
After thirty years of inactivity, she exhibited regularly in Japan, but also in Taiwan
|
|
where she returned for the annual exhibitions of the group Fifth Moon.
|
|
|
2011
|
For her eightieth, Dr.Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall assembled a large retrospective.
|
|
|
