Chihung Yang  杨识宏  pinyin Yang Shihong

1947

Chihung Yang  杨识宏   was born on October 25, in Chungli, Taoyuan County, Taiwan.

He studied at the National Taiwan College of Art.

1968

He graduated from the National Academy of Arts of Taiwan.

1979

He went to live with his family in the United States.

1984 / 1985

He was awarded two years in a row, the Institute of Artistic and Urban Resources

Scholarship for an artist residency at Clocktower, New York.

1987

He published a book on Chinese Art :: New Trends in Modern Art.

1989

He became an American citizen.

He lives and works in Taipei  Taiwan, and New York  United States.
