Chen Fushan 陈福善 (1905 - 1995) was born in Panama, North America.
|
|
|
His family was native of Panyu, Guangdong Province China.
|

|
|
1910
|
The family moved to Hong Kong.
|
| |
|
| |
Self-taught artist of western painting, he became an active member of the Hong Kong
|
| |
Art scene and published numerous articles on Art.
|
|
1931
|
He co-founded with friends the Tsinghua Art Society and the nex year the Green Pines
|
| |
Fine Arts Society, organizations of short duration. |
| |
|
|
1934
|
He joined the Hong Kong Society of Fine Arts.
|
| |
|
|
1950
|
He painted realistic watercolours of the surrounding landscape.
|
| |
|
|
1960
|
Experiencing many styles and techniques, he turned to abstraction to better capture, |

|
his inner visions. |

|
He widely exhibited in Hong Kong and abroad.
