1943

Shen Xinggong 沈行工 was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province China.

He studied at Nanjing University.

1966

He graduated from the Arts department of the Nanjing Art Institute.

1978

He studied for three years Oil painting, under the guidance of Su Tianci.

1981

A graduate, he taught Oil painting at the Nanjing University of the Arts.

1983

He was appointed Vice President of the Nanjing University of the Arts.

1986/1987

He travelled to Japan and then to the United States.

As an influential Oil painter and educator, he continues to explore Jiangnan

landscapes through his colorful language.
