Shang Yang 尚扬 was born in the district of Ka, SIchuan Province China.

Graduated from the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts and the Oil Painting Research

Institute, he began teaching Oil Painting, at the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts
|
| |
and then at the Fine Arts Department, of South China Normal University.
