Luo Zhongli 罗中立 was born in Chongqing, Sichuan Province China.

He lived for ten years in the Daba Mountains, region of Central China.

1978
|
He was admitted to the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.

| |

1980

He made himself known with his hyperrealistic portraits of the rural population

| |
of southwestern China.
|
| |

|
1982
|
A graduate, he taught for a year at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.

Father won the First Prize at the Second National Exhibition of Youth Art Beijing
|
| |
China.

| |
|
|
1983
|
He moved to Belgium, and continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine

| |
Arts in Antwerp.

| |

1986

Graduate of a M.F.A. (oil painting Department ) he returned to teach at the Sichuan

Fine Arts Institute, in Chongqing.
|
| |
|
| |
His works participate in numerous exhibitions in China, the United States, Taiwan,

Belgium, France. |

The Luo Zhonghi Museum - Huxi Campus - Sichuan Fine Arts Institute China held

a big individual exhibition - 400 drawings ( 1963 to nowadays ) + experimental
