Member of the International Shuxiang Society in Beijing
 

1969

Lü Mei was born in Henan Province, China.
   

1991

 She graduated from the Zhoukou Normal University, in Henan Province. 
  ( Fine Arts department )
   

1996/ 1998

 She entered The Central Academy of Arts and Design in Beijing.
   

1999

She joined The Central Academy of Arts, in Beijing.
   

2000

 She moved to the United States and settled in Chicago, then in New York.
   
  She lives and works in New York, United States.
