1960

Jia Juanli was born on September 5, in Hangzhou, in a literate family in China.

 

 

 

After high school, she studied at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts.

   

1984

She obtained a Bachelor's degree ( oil painting section )

 

She started teaching Art at the Academy of Guizhou.

   

1989

She was admitted to continue her studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts

 

in Beijing.

 

 

1991

She graduated with a Master's degree in Fine Arts ( oil painting department )

   

1996

Thanks to a scholarship by the French Government, she went to France to study

 

at the Institute of Fine Arts of Aix-en-Provence

   

1998

She settled in Paris and devoted herself entirely to creation.

   
 

She took part in the travelling group exhibition CHIFRA, marking the 50th anniversary

 

of diplomatic relations between China and France.
