Samson Young  楊嘉輝 was born on July 6 in Hong Kong.

2002

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts ( Music ) from the University of Sydney  Australia.

2007

He graduated with a Master's degree ( Music Composition ) from the H.K. University.

2013

He obtained his PhD ( Musical Composition ) from the University of Princeton  U.S.A.

2015

He was the winner of the BMW Art Journey Award at Art Basel  Hong Kong.

2017

He represented Hong Kong at the 57th Venice Biennial.

Composer, sound artist and multimedia artist, he approaches questions of identity,

borders, migrations, military conflicts, through sound sketches and performs.

He lives and works in Hong Kong  China.
