He studied in Beijing East Art Institute.

- As an installations artist, Li Yonggeng transforms everyday objects,

giving them a new perception.
|
| |
- As a performances artist, he invited the public to destroy works from his Sew
|
| |
series, by slashing them; then he sewed on again them. This needlework acts
|
| |
on him, like a therapy.
|
| |
|
|
|
He lives and works in Beijing China. |
