1940

Diana Shui-Iu Wong  黄瑞瑶 was born and raised in Hong Kong.

She started drawing at age five.

1957

She studied in Italy at the School of Fine Arts in Rome and later at the London

Royal School , taking classes with great masters.

1962

Once back in Hong Kong, she began to be interested in abstraction.

1970

She traveled to the US and decided to reside in Los Angeles.

1985

She opened her gallery in Santa Monica, Los Angeles.

2005

She published her autobiography : Merging, The labyrinth And Beyond.

2011

She created Labyrinth of the Nine Palaces, a permanent installation made of glass  

and steel, on the roof of the museum Shang Yuan, Beijing.

She lives and works in the United States.

numerous exhibitions in China, United States, France , Italy, Japan, Mexico, Taiwan.
