Xu Wentao was born in Wuhan, Hubei province, in China.

1991

He graduated from the Jianghan University ( Fine Arts Department )

1996

He joined the Hubei Fine Arts Institute.

1999

Graduated with a Master degree from the Hubei Fine Arts Institute,

( oil painting department ) he began teaching.
