Wang Dongling 王冬龄 was born in Rudong, in Jiangsu province, China.

He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Art from the Normal University of Arts in Nanjing.

1981
|
Graduated with a Master 's degree in Art from Calligraphy department of Zhejiang
|

Academy of fine Arts, the current Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, in Hangzhou,
|
| |
he began teaching there calligraphy.
|
| |
|
|
1989
|
After the United States, where he taught calligraphy and held several solo exhibitions
|
| |
in universities, he went to Japan and was influenced by the master of Japanese
|
| |
calligraphy : Inoue Yichi
|
| |
|
| |
He lives and works in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province China. |
