Ren Hang 任航 was born on March 30 in Changchun, Jilin Province, in Northeastern China.

Self-taught, he began to take an interest in photography.
|

|
|
|
Internationally renowned poet and photographer, he was famous for his skill

| |
in staging nude photographs which earned him censorship in China.
|
| |
|
| |
He published 16 monographs in self-publishing and limited edition..
|
| |
Ren Hang published by Taschen ( 2017 ) retraced his entire career.
|
| |
|
|

On February 24, suffering from depression, he ended his life by jumping out of the window,
|
| |
only 29 years.
|
| |
|
|
2019
|
The M.E.P., Maison Européenne de la Photographie, in Paris paid tribute to him with an

exhibition of 150 photographs, European and Chinese collections : Love, Ren Hang.
