Jiny Lan 蓝竟 pinyin : Lan Jing

1970

Jiny Lan 蓝竟 was born in Xiuyan, Liaoning Province, China.

1976

She studied Painting at the school of cultural Center in Xiuyan, under Liu Renjie.

1988

She studied Economics, at Bohai University, Jinzhou.

1991

She joined the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts for three years.

1994

She was Art editor at People's Daily, Beijing.

1995

She moved to Germany.

2005

She worked for three years at the museum Schloss Moyland Foundation.

2009

She was a freelance journalist for the Chinese Art magazines : Art Time, Beijing China

and Chinese European Post, Francfort Germany.

2012

She is part of the Chinese feminist group Bald Girls

2013

She was co-curator for the exhibition Beuys in China, in the CAFA Museum, Beijing.

She lives and works in Germany.
