Rong Rong & Inri 荣荣和映里 pinyin Rong Rong he Ying Li

1968

Rong Rong was born in Zhangzhou, in Fujian Province, China.

1986

She entered the Fujian Institute of Industrial Art

 

In the first two years, she studied painting, then photography.

1992

She joined the Institute of Central Industrial Art in Beijing ( photography department )

1993

She settled in East-Village, for a long photographic study of the artists.

1996

She opened her photography workshop in Beijing

   

1973

Inri was born in the prefecture of Kanagawa, Japan.

1994

After graduating from the Nippon Institute of Photography in Tokyo, she worked for three

 

years, for the newspaper Asahi Shinbun.

1997

She became an independent photographer.

 

 

2000

Rong Rong & Inri 荣荣和映里 began to work together

 

They created in Beijing, the Center of Art of Photography: the Three Shadows Photography

 

Art Center.

2007

They participated in numerous exhibitions.
