1974

Li Hongbo was born on January 7, in Jilin province, in China.
   

1996

He obtained his B.A. degree from Jilin Normal University.

   

2001

He earned a M.F.A. degree in Folk Art, from the C.A.F.A. in Beijing.
   

2010

He graduated with a M.F.A. degree in Experimental Art, from the Central Academy

  of Fine Arts in Beijing.
   
  His flexible figurative sculptures using thousand of sheets of paper, made him famous.
   
  He lives and works in Beijing, China.
