Chen Yu 陈余 naît dans le comté de Ziyun, province de Guizhou, en Chine .

Il est le deuxième enfant d'une famille de trois. |

Yu Chen, sa soeur, Chen Yu et son frère cadet Chen Li, tous sont artistes. |

|
|

Il est diplômé de l'Académie Centrale des Beaux-Arts ( section gravure ). |

|
|
|
|
Après avoir travaillé dans l'Édition, il décide de créer ses propres oeuvres. |

|
|
|
Influencé par l'Art de la gravure, il duplique dans toutes ses peintures, des personnages
|
| |
à l'expression identique, sauf pour l'un d'entre eux . |
