Wang Ai 王艾 naît à Huangyan, dans la province du Zhejiang, en Chine.

Son père et son frère aîné l'initient très jeune, à l'Art et à la Poésie. |

Il part s'installer à Beijing, au village d'artistes Yuanmingyuan.
|
|
|
|
- Artiste, ses peintures d'apparence abstraites révèlent de nombreux détails : |

représentation d'animaux, fragments de paysages, figures imaginaires. |
|
|
|
- Poète, il remporte des prix de poésie et co-édite des revues. |
|
|
|
- Écrivain, il écrit un roman, une sélection de nouvelles et des critiques d'Art.
|
|
|
|
Il vit et travaille à Beijing Chine.
