Wang Shugang 王书刚 was born in Beijing China.

He entered the Central Academy of Fine-Arts in Beijing.

Graduated with a Bachelor, he was assigned to the National Bureau |

of Town-Planning. |
|
|
1987
|
He began his life as freelance artist.
|
|
|
1989
|
He moved to settle in West Germany. |
|
He stayed there forty years then returned to Beijing China.
|
|
|
|
He is Famous for his stylized statues of people in three colors :
|
|
Red, white and bronze, notably : Meeting (8 painted bronze figures)
|
|
presented first in Germany (2007) then in Canada, during the Vancouver
|
|
Biennial (2009-2011).
|
|
Transferred, the installation is visible at the City Ray Sargent Park.
|
|
|
|
He lives and works in Germany and in China. |
|
