Fan Zeng 范曾 was born on July 5th in a family of literati, in Natong,

Jiangsu Province, China.

He studied at Nankai University in Tianjin.

He entered the Central Academy of Fine Arts ( C.A.F.A. ) in Beijing

to study the history of Art, then the Chinese painting.

He taught in the Academy of Decorative Arts. |

Painter, Poet, calligrapher, he began to exhibit throughout the world. |

1984

Highly popular in Japan, a museum dedicated to his works opened

in Okayama.

He spent three years in France and set up a workshop in Paris.

He taught at Nankai University. |
